イラン南西部の都市で、ウールとシルクを使った絨毯を多く作っています。ナインブルーと呼ばれる水色とベージュを基調とし、伝統的なメダリオン、エスリム、コーナーを配していながらも、落ち着いた色合いが多いため、日本でも人気を集める産地です。

Nain is a city in the southwestern region of Iran, where many carpets that use both wool and silk are made. The carpet’s colors are based on a light blue color, known as Nain blue, and beige with designs such as traditional medallions, eslimi patterns and corners weaved into them. Because of their usage of quiet tone of colors, Nain carpets are very popular in Japan.
